A Recipe for Chamomile-Cranberry and Kratom Tea

Chamomile-CranberryChamomile is an herb that interacts very well with kratom, as it not only helps to dull the bitterness of the latter but also adds to its sedative or relaxant effect. This particular blend of tea is therefore best for those who take kratom in order to wind down, or perhaps in order to help themselves fall asleep at night. The addition of cranberry and ginger result in a deliciously sweet and slightly salty mix that effectively make drinking kratom tea much more bearable.

Begin by making a cup of kratom tea. This is done by getting the amount of kratom needed for a regular dose (this would be about 7 or 8 grams of the dried leaf or powder) and then throwing it into a saucepan with a cup of water. This is then brought to a boil and left on the heat until the water boils down to half the original amount, at which point the liquid is strained/filtered out of the saucepan and into a waiting bowl. Another cup of water is then thrown into the original saucepan to be boiled down to half its volume again, after which it shall be strained/filtered into the bowl where the first half-cup of kratom tea is waiting. This time, though, you should add a half-inch’s worth of sliced ginger to the boiling water and let it boil with the kratom.

kratomAfterwards, take the cup of kratom tea you have (which should still be hot) and add 2 teabags of chamomile tea to it. If you find that the kratom liquid has cooled down too quickly, you can pass it through heat swiftly to get it to a simmer or perhaps reheat it using the microwave. Either way, just add the chamomile teabags once you are ready and let them steep in it for about 5 minutes.

After the teabags have done steeping, you can strain the mixture again into a waiting cup. Add half a cup of lukewarm cranberry juice to it, as well as 1 teaspoon of honey. This should give you a nice and sweet kratom-chamomile tea to enjoy before you fall into bed.
